Mini Middle-Earth

Don't you wish you were 7 inches tall to be able to live in this Hobbit house? More fantastic crafts from the world of Tolkien's fans. This miniature house was built by Obelia Medusa (full set of pictures). It is quite remarkable what some fans can produce, I often wonder what Professor Tolkien would think if he could see how much love and passion his work is able to create.

"And laugh they did, and eat, and drink, often and heartily, been fond of simple jests at all times, and of six meals a day (when they could get them)."
(J.R.R.Tolkien - Concerning Hobbits)

Must come not as a surprise I love tiny things, all Hobbits have are fond of *smallness* and this is quite fine for they are also known as the 'small folk'. As for being small does not mean you are less important although many big folks do tend to see it that way. As I see it, small things are best, take less space and are easy to carry around.

Here are some fantastic Lord of the Rings miniatures, once again it's easy to see why sometime one wish to be 7 inches tall and sit outside Bag End in the evening smoking pipe-weed and looking at the stars. (more Lord of the Rings miniatures here). I have my little version of Middle-earth too which is always guarded by my loyal minion cat Pop of the Rings.
