A 'Fragile' Hobbit getting Stronger

Ready to start filming...all systems go...go...go! According to TheOneRing.net a settlement has been reached in the long-running dispute between the Tolkien's Family/Estate and New Line Cinema.

"A tentative settlement has been reached in the case. The parties have filed a stipulation that explicitly states that “the parties have entered into a binding term sheet settling this matter, which term sheet is subject to certain necessary ratifications, which may take up to several weeks to obtain."

Although still pending formal approval, this is really good news and as it stands it is very likely all the legal issues surrounding the case will not be an obstacle in the production of the much anticipated The Hobbit.
