Sir 'Hobbit' Peter Jackson Is Knighted

Earlier today Peter Jackson was knighted in New Zealand for his contribution to the arts and movie industry in his country. stuff.co.nz is reporting . In accepting this great honour (in a very windy Wellington) on behalf on "thousands of people" that work everyday in the industry behind the scenes because as he said " making movies is not a solo effort' . A honour to recognize Peter Jackson's determination to remain in New Zealand and make movies in his own (beautiful) country using local crews and skills helping the local economy , and of his charitable work. So the Shire rejoices today for one of its most famous sons is now a 'sir' hobbit ....celebrations means party tree and party tree means food and food is very good :) . Congratulation Sir 'Hobbit' Peter!
