Tolkien's Art In 'Beloved Oxfordshire' Inspiring Middle-Earth

In the heart of one of England most beautiful counties lays the little market town known as Banbury and it is here that a brand new exhibition of Tolkien's inspired art has just gone on show in the local museum. Art by internationally acclaimed illustrator Ted Nasmith as well as Middle-Earth's inspired art by Ruth Lacon, Peter Pracownik and Jef Murray, and of course, some priceless original early drawings by Professor Tolkien himself including an extremely early version of Tolkien's famous JRRT monogram. This fantastic exhibition runs until Saturday 19 June and entry is free. Inspiring Middle-earth exhibition, will be followed by a second one planned to tie in with The Hobbit movies that are due for release in 2012 (?) and 2013 (?).

Very nice...here is an other very good reason for this hobbit to make a flying visit to Tolkien's 'Beloved Oxfordshire' :)
